At Speedinvest, Sophia is on the lookout for next generation technologies tackling our physical industries, from manufacturing to energy and construction. Before joining the Speedinvest Industiral & Climate Tech team in Paris & Munich, she gained experience at several startups, as well as in strategy consulting. She is also the co-founder of amelia, a personal growth platform for female young professionals. Sophia studied in Mannheim, San Diego, Copenhagen and Munich and holds a Master of Science in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich and the Center for Digital Technology Management. From R&D labs to the shopfloor, she’s fascinated by the rise of industrial automation and how it’s redefining our most essential industries - especially where AI collides with hard tech, all while driving forward Europe's sovereignty.
